Kix By Katie is an innovative device that keeps the fabric of your pants from bunching
between your heel and shoe when you wear long pants and open-back heels. We
affectionately call this fashion faux pas a ”heel wedgie”! |
| 2. How Does Kix By Katie work? |
Kix by Katie work by simply applying the lightweight, supportive strip to the inside back
hemline of your pants. Acting like a "collar stay" for men's shirts, Kix by Katie adds a little
extra weight and rigidity to the pant leg to keep it hanging nicely. |
| 3. How do I apply Kix By Katie to my pant leg? |
A single Kix By Katie comes as two strips, a cloth strip (the panel) with an adhesive back
and a flexible stiffening strip (the stick). As shown below ~ you simply "PEEL" the cloth
strip from the backing, "ATTACH" the stick (cloth side out) to the center of adhesive side
of panel. Then "SECURE" the completed unit vertically to the inside back hemline of your
pants. Voila!

Kix By Katie are recommended for use with pants made of heavier weight fabric such as
denim, cotton twill, etc.

Kix By Katie were primarily designed for use with open-back shoes to prevent "heel
wedgies" that occur while wearing the classic flattering look of high heel shoes with long
slacks.
However, we have been happy to hear that our customers also enjoy wearing Kix By
Katie with many different styles of shoes including loafers, boots, sling backs, etc. Even
men are wearing them with dress shoes and slacks. They claim Kix By Katie provides
desired support to the pant leg keeping that area of their pants hanging straight and
looking good too. While Kix by Katie does not claim to be effective in applications it was
not designed for ~ we always enjoy hearing about new ways wearers have discovered

Yes, we recommend removing Kix By Katie before laundering or dry cleaning to ensure
no damage will occur to any garment it may come in contact with in the washing and
drying and/or dry cleaning process.

While Kix By Katie is designed to be a disposable wear and discard product, it will stay
secured to the inside of your pants until you take them out before laundering or dry
cleaning. Many people report that they can get several ‘wears’ from each set.
